What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with carriers to enhance the claims process and evaluate carrier performance in claims handling
- Develop and implement systems for collecting, analyzing, and reporting on claims data
- Facilitate regular communication among teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment on claim strategies
- Provide guidance on complex first- and third-party cyber claim issues and support regional claim colleagues
- Create and maintain reports and dashboards to present findings to management and stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Substantial claims experience with strong knowledge of insurance carrier claims services
- Bachelor's degree in a related field required; law degree preferred (J.D., AIC, ARM, CIC, or CRM)
- Strong technical knowledge of cyber lines of coverage and information technology systems
- Must be accessible outside of normal business hours for urgent issues
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Willingness to obtain a P&C license
- Experience in developing training programs focused on consultative claims management techniques
- Familiarity with cyber incident trends and regulatory changes
- Strong interpersonal skills with a high sense of urgency
