Job summary

Plante Moran in Colorado is seeking a senior tax professional to lead income tax provisions and related tax compliance for a range of clients, including public companies. You will act as a national technical resource in ASC 740 and drive engagement success.

The role requires 10+ years in public accounting, a Bachelor’s in Accounting, and a CPA or Bar license. Travel may be required; you will supervise 1–2 associates and collaborate with managers, partners, and clients.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in public accounting.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• CPA or Bar license required.
• Tax provision review and preparation experience.
• Willingness to travel for firm-wide trainings and events.

Responsibilities

• Prepare income tax provisions for clients, including certain public companies.
• Review provisions as a subject matter expert in an attest role.
• Serve as a national technical resource in ASC 740 and related areas.
• Review returns for corporate clients and assist with audits.
• Lead engagements from planning through completion and manage billing/realization.
