Job summary

Plante Moran, PLLC in Colorado is seeking an experienced tax professional to lead engagements and provide strategic tax services for partnerships, corporations, and individuals. You will review returns, prepare tax provisions, and advise clients on federal and state matters while supervising a small team.

This exempt role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting and a CPA or Bar license, 5+ years in public accounting, and travel as needed for trainings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in public accounting.
• CPA or Bar License required.
• Overnight travel to attend trainings may be required.

Responsibilities

• Review returns for partnership, corporate, and individual tax clients, including federal, foreign, state and local tax returns, estimated payments and extensions.
• Prepare tax provisions.
• Identify tax solutions and opportunities for clients including federal or state credits or items generated from tax law changes.
• Lead engagements and supervise 1–2 associates on each engagement.
• Contribute to business expansion through proposals and client meetings.
