Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a National Commercial Business Director (CBD) for the MASH division to lead the field organization across the Obesity Liver portfolio in the US. The role drives regional sales, market access, and customer-centric strategies with senior leadership collaboration.

The CBD MASH will shape field structure, talent planning, and onboarding to enable a successful launch and sustained growth while managing budgets and P&L responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years in pharma or life sciences.
• 5+ years of sales/commercial leadership; US experience preferred.
• 2+ years of people leadership in a matrix org.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to Field Sales Managers to achieve regional sales and KPIs.
• Develop regional business plans and manage regional P&L.
• Lead talent acquisition, coaching and succession planning.
• Align cross-functional teams to execute strategic commercialization.
