Job summary

The JOY FM in Largo, FL is seeking a Master Control Operator to oversee nationwide transmissions and work closely with IT and Engineering to maintain clean, strong signals across the network. Your duties include monitoring feeds for audio/video quality, documenting issues, and maintaining security and scheduling across the broadcast system.

A high school diploma or GED with related broadcast training or two years of experience is required, along with a valid Florida driver’s license.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor multiple feeds for quality audio and video across the network.
• Document discrepancies, reports and logs; communicate issues clearly to engineers.
• Maintain security procedures and access controls for facilities.
• Manage prayer line schedule when prompted and maintain server schedules.
• Coordinate with IT/Engineering to resolve on-air issues and notify senior staff if needed.
• Embrace future projects/technologies and maintain professional conduct at all times.
