Job summary
Langan Engineering & Environmental Services seeks a Civil Engineering Practice Lead to drive a national aviation practice, expanding market reach and delivering technical leadership across civil, geotechnical, and environmental disciplines for major airport projects. The role emphasizes strategic growth and collaboration across a multi-disciplinary team.
You will lead design efforts, mentor staff, and work with clients nationwide to secure projects while integrating aviation program development
Qualifications
- 15+ years of progressive civil engineering experience.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in at least one US state.
- Design experience on FAA and airport authority projects with reputable clients.
- Experience leading staff on aviation civil engineering projects.
- Strong business development history with project wins.
Responsibilities
- Lead and continue development of a progressive national aviation practice.
- Build, maintain, and manage client relationships to secure aviation projects nationwide.
- Provide technical leadership in civil engineering designs, drawings, specs and cost estimates.
- Lead and mentor engineering design staff to meet objectives.
- Assist with talent acquisition to grow the aviation practice.
- Develop and implement strategies to win airport projects and cross-sell services.
