The USA TODAY NETWORK, part of Gannett, is a Pulitzer Prize-winning publisher with over 300 local news properties and the national USA TODAY. Our team is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic Digital Account Executive with a focus on automotive digital advertising.

Position Overview

We are leading innovation in automotive digital advertising with proprietary technology, automotive-specific products, and events. The role involves enhancing relationships with agency and T1/T2 automotive brands.

Responsibilities
  1. Drive digital advertising sales and meet/exceed sales goals using our products and solutions.
  2. Develop new revenue opportunities with clients and agencies.
  3. Manage, renew, and upsell existing clients.
  4. Collaborate on proposals and respond to RFPs professionally and promptly.
  5. Represent Gannett and USA TODAY at industry events.
  6. Ensure clients' KPIs and needs are met.
  7. Stay updated on online advertising trends.
Qualifications
  1. At least 3 years of experience with national auto brands and digital sales.
  2. Established relationships with advertising agencies (preferred).
  3. Experience with automotive brands, especially T1/T2 (preferred).
  4. Strong negotiation and sales skills.
  5. Prospecting and cold calling abilities.
  6. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  7. Proficiency with Salesforce, MediaRadar, SellerCrowd (preferred).
  8. BS/BA degree.
