NATL ABL AUDIT SPECIALIST
This position is responsible for conducting collateral examinations on new, potential loan customers and highly complex and/or troubled borrowers. The primary purpose of this position is to evaluate collateral related to the existence and valuation of accounts receivable and/or inventory balances to be relied upon in the extension of credit to borrowers: 1) new, 2) poor performing, and/or 3) select specialized industries.
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct Collateral Exams; perform due diligence on loans over $5MM or considered higher risk, ensuring productive performance, responsiveness to internal customer needs, and adherence to controls, policies, and procedures. Perform complex field exams, including travel across regions and for companies within targeted specialized industries. Schedule post-exam meetings with business unit and credit managers to discuss collateral issues and provide recommendations for improvement. Assist in monitoring the effectiveness of market/industry policies and procedures, and recommend enhancements. Communicate and escalate critical exam findings, concerns, or suspicions of fraud promptly. Maintain knowledge of all key aspects of CEG market activity and interact daily with management.
- Perform comprehensive reviews of field exams to ensure accuracy and proper issue identification. Maintain high standards for report quality and workpapers. Conduct inventory evaluations as needed. Stay informed about field exams through daily updates, address concerns immediately, and communicate issues to the CEG Market Manager.
- Assist in staff development by sharing subject matter expertise with colleagues, especially those working on less complex exams.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Banking, Finance, or General Business from an accredited university.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Collateral Field Examination.

- Work Category: Category E - 100% remote
- Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday
Salary Range (California, Colorado, Washington, New York, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, Massachusetts):
- $81,600 - $152,500 annually
Salary is subject to change and varies based on factors including location, experience, and skillset.
