Job summary

XKIG is seeking a National Training Coordinator in Houston, TX to design, deliver, and oversee national arborist training programs. The role requires non-entry level experience and involves leading hands-on sessions across regions, coordinating regional trainers, and expanding in-house training capabilities.

The role focuses on core arboricultural techniques, safety standards, and the use of LMS platforms; travel is extensive to support field teams and events.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of industry experience.
• Expert-level knowledge of arboricultural practices and safety standards.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; adaptable to diverse learners.
• Experience in adult education and instructional delivery.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver hands-on skills training across regions.
• Oversee regional trainers to ensure quality and consistency.
• Develop in-house training capabilities with Qualified Trainers (QTs).
• Lead training in core arboriculture categories including chainsaw use, climbing, aerial lift and electrical hazard awareness.
• Collaborate with Corporate Training Group to align content with industry standards.
• Participate in onboarding new employees and coordinate required training programs.
• Represent XKIG at industry events, conferences, and training expos.
• Maintain regular communication with field teams and management; evaluate and improve training delivery.
• Use LMS platforms for accessing and assigning learning modules.
• Travel extensively by air and vehicle; train onsite in varied environments.
• Knowledge of reporting formats and data entry/tracking systems.
