Job Overview

At Lavazza North America, the National Account Manager plays a critical role in maintaining and expanding our hospitality and travel business, aligning with our growth strategy for the North American market. We seek a sales professional experienced in selling coffee to customers in these channels.

Location: Remote (preferably in Central or East Coast)

Responsibilities
  • Manage existing clients to retain, enhance brand awareness, and increase profitable sales.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop tailored programs, including branding, equipment, and training.
  • Coordinate branding initiatives such as “We Proudly Serve” programs.
  • Communicate regional programs to the Regional Sales Directors for execution.
  • Oversee customer programs covering pricing, equipment, service, and marketing.
  • Support local market activities within the assigned territory, including orders, training, and customer engagement.
  • Manage pricing, contracts, and renewals.
  • Travel frequently to support customer needs, including occasional weekends and overnight stays.
  • Identify and develop a pipeline of strategic national targets.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • At least 5 years of senior sales experience in the Food & Beverage industry, preferably in Coffee.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset, attentive listening, and solution-oriented approach.
  • Ability to develop training protocols and schedules.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills for internal and external collaboration.
  • Negotiation skills with experience in contract execution.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
