Job Overview:

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a National Account Manager for our National Industrial Supply/MRO accounts for the Precision Science Division (PS). This position will report to the ARO Director Sales & Service. The role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact for the division. The candidate will manage distribution partners and build organizational competency within the Ingersoll Rand Precision Science business unit, focusing on key customer segments like Grainger, Applied Industries, Fastenal, MSC, and Motion Industries. The responsibilities include sales growth, business development, account management, marketing, strategic planning, and training.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to expand the Precision Science product portfolio in national accounts, ensuring profitable growth.
  • Coordinate product line-ups with detailed features, aligning with marketing strategies.
  • Create and execute pricing strategies to meet profit and revenue goals.
  • Develop promotional plans for in-store and online channels to boost brand awareness.
  • Build strong relationships with key influences at corporate and local levels to activate opportunities.
  • Design and deliver formal training for sales professionals on product knowledge and applications.
  • Measure distributor performance and lead improvement programs, including business reviews and product launches.
  • Participate in training opportunities to stay current and improve skills.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in industrial supply/MRO management, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Strong computer skills, including analytics and Microsoft systems navigation.

Pay Range: $90,000 - $110,000 plus bonuses and incentives.
