Atlas Roof & Wall Insulation – a division of Atlas Roofing Corporation – specializes in the manufacture of quality engineered polyiso insulation, specialty products, and accessories. Atlas Roof Insulation & Wall Insulation products lead the industry in polyiso insulation boards and facer technology and performance in commercial and residential buildings.

Atlas Roofing Corporation, a privately owned company, established in 1982, is an international and multi-divisional manufacturer of roofing, sheathing, facer, and insulation product solutions.

Atlas Roof & Wall Insulation is seeking a National Account Manager – Builder Sales for the polyiso foam division. Location: Atlanta area preferred, or near major sales markets.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Identify regional and national builder targets by establishing among which builder types, and in which climate zones, Atlas EnergyShield has the best opportunities for growth.
  • Understand and report on the role that EnergyShield can play with the target audience, ensuring that the value proposition is attractive and in-line with customer needs
  • Understand and effectively communicate to target builders the role of EnergyShield products in the building envelope and how they are aligned with the client’s design and profit objectives
  • Develop relationships with the target builders and present the EnergyShield value proposition as it adjoins or replaces other solutions
  • Develop where needed, or assist in maintaining, supply chain channel for the target accounts, coordinating with Regional and District Managers.
  • Give guidance on pricing and rebates while maintaining focus on product margin and profitability
  • Implement a tracking system to build a project pipeline from the initial lead to close of sale
  • Other related duties assigned by division leadership.
  • Estimated travel is 50-75%

Experience

  • Positions involving sales to builders and to builder channels
  • 3 years’ relevant experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Organization - Must have sound organizational skills, be detail-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Communication - Ability to provide relevant and timely information in a clear manner both verbally and in writing.
  • Job Knowledge - Knowledgeable of building envelope composition and design, and of building codes as they relate to home-builder audiences, HERS rating knowledge or certification a plus
  • Customer Knowledge – Familiar with the major builders nationally or regionally, preferably from recent past contact in a product sales or consulting context. Be familiar with the distribution channel players for builders in each market, preferably from firsthand experience in sales positions
  • Follow Through – Fulfill the requirements of the position as described. Follows through on completion of assigned tasks in a timely manner. Anticipates what needs to be done and proceeds with minimal direction in a timely manner.
  • Problem Solving – Ability to think through issues and develop solutions in a timely manner. Sound troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills. Has the ability to work under pressure with deadlines.
  • Language - Must be able to speak fluent English.

  • Computer literate: ability to effectively utilize Word, Excel, Email, and PowerPoint
  • Capable of working with online lead development systems
  • Strong analytical and systems skills
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills…ability to get results through influence
  • Ability to work with people at multiple organizational levels
  • Ability to learn quickly and retain a large amount of detail regarding customers and products
  • Generate new ideas and provide innovative solutions to problems
  • Willingness to become knowledgeable of relevant industry codes

Education, Licenses & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years’ relevant experience
  • HERS rater qualification a plus
