The National Account Manager will be responsible for generating net-new Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) and expanding multi-year relationships across AGDATA’s software, data, and enterprise solutions. This role will focus on national and strategic accounts in North American agriculture, with a priority on building executive-level relationships, advancing complex sales cycles, and delivering measurable commercial outcomes for clients. The ideal candidate is an experienced enterprise sales professional who can identify opportunity, create value-based sales strategies, and close high-impact deals in a consultative, disciplined way.

What you will do:

  • Build and manage a pipeline of national and strategic accounts across North American agriculture.
  • Develop executive relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Lead consultative sales conversations that connect AGDATA’s software, data, and enterprise solutions to measurable business outcomes.
  • Manage complex deal cycles from prospecting through close, including stakeholder alignment, business case development, contracting, and handoff to internal teams.
  • Partner cross-functionally with product, marketing, client success, and leadership to support account strategy and long-term growth.
What You Bring:
  • 5+ years of enterprise sales experience in SaaS, data, analytics, or technology-enabled services, with experience selling into agriculture, ag retail, crop protection, seed, distribution, animal health, or adjacent industries preferred.
  • Proven success managing complex sales cycles and closing $250K–$1M+ total contract value (TCV) deals involving multiple stakeholders, security or privacy requirements, and data‑sharing considerations.
  • Strong executive presence, disciplined deal management, and sharp financial/ROI acumen.
  • Working knowledge of agricultural go‑to‑market strategies including rebates, retailer networks, buying groups, and biologicals trends.
  • Willingness to travel 40–50% across North America.
