Job description

Case-Mate is a global leader in fashion-forward accessories, creating products that blend style, function, and self-expression. Our portfolio spans mobile and tech accessories, gift and lifestyle products, charging, screen protection, and emerging categories that sit at the intersection of fashion, technology, and everyday life. Our products are sold through leading retailers, specialty stores, and boutiques around the world.

As we continue to expand beyond traditional mobile accessories, we’re especially interested in talent with experience across fashion accessories, gift, lifestyle, apparel, and other boutique-driven consumer categories—people who understand how to build products and brands that feel fresh, trend-right, and highly merchandisable.

We move fast, think creatively, and aren't afraid to challenge the way things have always been done.

The Opportunity

Case-Mate is looking for a National Account Manager – Boutique & Specialty Channel to drive growth across independent boutiques, specialty retailers, regional chains, gift stores, lifestyle retailers, and other emerging wholesale opportunities.

Reporting to the Director of Sales, this role will be responsible for developing and executing the day-to-day sales strategy for the boutique and specialty channel — identifying new opportunities, opening doors, strengthening existing partnerships, and building a scalable pipeline of new business.

This isn't just a “maintain the accounts” sales role.

We want someone who knows how to build business. The right person understands that boutique and specialty retail is relationship-driven and can balance high-touch account management with aggressive new business development.

What You'll Own
Grow the Boutique & Specialty Business
  • Drive revenue growth and profitability across the boutique and specialty retail channel.
  • Partner with the Director of Sales to develop and execute the channel growth strategy.
  • Identify, prospect, and close new wholesale accounts.
  • Build a strong pipeline of boutiques, gift retailers, specialty stores, regional chains, and other non-traditional retail partners.
  • Identify whitespace opportunities by geography, retailer type, product category, and consumer segment.
  • Expand existing customer relationships through additional products, programs, and distribution opportunities.
  • Consistently pursue new revenue opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with current accounts.
Build Strong Customer Partnerships
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day relationship owner for assigned boutique and specialty accounts.
  • Develop strong relationships with buyers, business owners, distributors, sales representatives, and other channel partners.
  • Conduct product presentations, line reviews, assortment planning, and seasonal selling meetings.
  • Understand each customer's business and recommend assortments that make sense for their consumer and store environment.
  • Negotiate pricing, programs, promotions, and terms within established company guidelines.
  • Monitor account performance and proactively address opportunities, risks, inventory needs, and sell-through challenges.
Expand the Channel
  • Identify new markets, customers, and partnerships that can expand Case-Mate's specialty retail footprint.
  • Evaluate opportunities with independent sales representatives, rep groups, distributors, and other channel partners.
  • Work with the Director of Sales to develop programs that make Case-Mate easy and attractive for smaller and specialty retailers to buy.
  • Attend relevant trade shows, buying events, markets, and industry events to develop new business and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Partner with Marketing and Product teams to identify trends and products with strong potential within the boutique and specialty channel.
  • Bring customer and market feedback back to internal teams to help identify emerging opportunities.
Own the Numbers
  • Develop account plans, sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and growth plans for the channel.
  • Maintain accurate visibility into active opportunities and expected revenue.
  • Monitor sales, inventory, sell-through, margin, and account performance.
  • Identify performance gaps and develop plans to address them.
  • Partner with Operations, Planning, Finance, Marketing, Product, and Sales leadership to ensure successful account execution and product launches.
  • Use data to determine what's working, what's not, and where the greatest growth opportunities exist.
How We Work: Our Core Values

At Case-Mate, how you get results matters just as much as the results themselves.

Hustle

We move fast, act with urgency, and focus on results.

You'll be expected to keep opportunities moving, follow through, and actively pursue growth rather than waiting for business to come to you.

We challenge the status quo with bold ideas.

We want someone who sees new ways to reach customers, develop the channel, and create opportunities beyond the obvious.

Passion

We are driven by love for what we do and who we serve.

Great salespeople care about the customer, the product, and the business they're building. Energy and enthusiasm matter here.

Execution

We deliver high-quality results with precision and accountability.

Strong relationships are important, but they have to translate into results. We expect accurate forecasts, strong follow-through, and ownership of commitments.

Respect

We collaborate and lead with kindness and professionalism.

You'll work across Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations, Planning, and Finance. Strong partnerships internally are just as important as strong customer relationships externally.

What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of B2B sales, wholesale, account management, or specialty retail sales experience.
  • Demonstrated success developing new business and growing revenue within existing accounts.
  • Experience selling into boutiques, specialty retailers, gift stores, lifestyle retailers, regional chains, or similar wholesale channels strongly preferred.
  • Experience within consumer products, mobile accessories, electronics accessories, fashion accessories, gift, lifestyle, or adjacent categories preferred.
  • Strong prospecting and business development skills with the ability to build a pipeline from the ground up.
  • Proven ability to develop strong buyer and customer relationships.
  • Experience presenting product lines, developing assortments, and negotiating commercial programs.
  • Comfortable working with sales forecasts, account plans, margins, inventory, and performance data.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple accounts and opportunities simultaneously.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment.
  • Ability and willingness to travel for customer meetings, trade shows, markets, and industry events.
You’ll Be Great Here If You...
  • See an untapped market and immediately start figuring out how to win it.
  • Are just as comfortable opening a new account as you are growing an existing one.
  • Know how to build genuine relationships without losing sight of the number.
  • Don't need someone handing you a list of prospects — you'll build the list.
  • Understand that a lot of smaller doors can add up to a very big business.
  • Move with urgency but don't sacrifice accuracy or follow-through.
  • Bring ideas instead of simply identifying problems.
  • Can move between prospecting, selling, forecasting, account management, and execution without missing a beat.
  • Are comfortable working independently while staying closely aligned with Sales leadership.
  • Like working for a company where ideas can move quickly from conversation to action.
What Success Looks Like

Within your first year, you'll have:

  • Built a strong, measurable pipeline of new boutique and specialty retail opportunities.
  • Expanded Case-Mate's distribution into new accounts and markets.
  • Established a consistent prospecting and account-development rhythm.
  • Strengthened performance within existing specialty accounts.
  • Created a repeatable approach for prospecting, onboarding, and growing boutique customers.
  • Delivered meaningful incremental revenue from the boutique and specialty channel.
