Plato's Closet is looking for full and part-time Stylists! If you love fashion and enjoy working alongside fun, interesting people, this position may be a perfect match for you!

At Plato's Closet, Stylists work to help teens and young adults find styles that suit them. When customers visit, they rely on our help to select from our wide selection of unique items. It's our job to keep the store organized and welcoming, ensuring every customer has a positive experience. Each day offers new challenges, and we're always looking for ways to make the store more enjoyable for everyone.

Stylists have the opportunity to become Certified Buyers and assist in selecting merchandise. We promote from within and support career development into roles like Team Leaders, Assistant Managers, and Store Managers. Our management team started as Stylists and have grown with the company.

This location is part of a national resale network specializing in teenage clothing, serving the Nashville area for nearly 15 years, including stores in Cool Springs, Murfreesboro, and White Bridge Rd.

Requirements

• Exhibit appropriate selling and buying behaviors.
• Greet customers promptly, determine their needs, and handle transactions professionally and enthusiastically.
• Familiarize with products, brands, and pricing; recommend items that meet customer needs.
• Maximize sales and customer satisfaction by suggesting additional items.
• Assist in buying used merchandise, reinforcing customer purchases and store inventory.
• Encourage repeat visits and promote the store's image.
• Price and tag items according to guidelines.
• Restock and maintain store displays following merchandising plans.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization.
• Operate POS systems proficiently for transactions, returns, and inventory tracking.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals through excellent customer service.
• Ability to lift at least 30 pounds.
