Job summary
AJCP is seeking a Manager of Communications in Nashville to translate our communications strategy into actionable campaigns across corporate, property, and brand-level PR. You will lead media relations, develop story angles, and oversee agency partners, ensuring timely execution of press campaigns with brand consistency.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of PR experience, a background in travel and lifestyle, and strong writing/editing skills to support corporate and investor relations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience in public relations and communications, preferably in travel, lifestyle, hospitality, or real estate
- Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or a related discipline
- Proven ability to secure meaningful media coverage in top-tier national publications
- Experience working with or supporting executive leadership
- Occasional travel necessary
Responsibilities
- Translate high-level strategic direction into concrete plans, calendars, and campaigns
- Propose original angles and strategies for approval
- Lead day-to-day media relations across lifestyle, travel, and real estate sectors
- Draft and refine press releases, pitches, bios, and briefing documents
- Coordinate with investor relations and marketing on joint communications needs
- Manage agency partners and ensure timely delivery of campaigns
- Prepare weekly and monthly PR reports and distribute results
