Qualifications

  • Experience in government or aerospace industry preferred.
  • Experience with Concur Government Edition (CGE) beneficial.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Comfortable with website applications to coordinate activities, store files and enter data.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication; detail oriented and deadline driven.
  • Willing to learn major office projects and terminology; proactive and flexible.
  • Team player with positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to prioritize work and communicate time estimates for competing priorities.
  • Some travel may be necessary locally and in the US.
  • US Citizen; ability to obtain government clearance; Secret/ TS/ SCI preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with high level leadership and stakeholders; provide admin support and meeting coordination.
  • Manage calendar and meetings; deconflict as needed.
  • Identify schedule conflicts and provide updated information to stakeholders.
  • Maintain actions for the supported customer; coordinate with admins to complete tasks.
  • Support correspondence, compile charts and memos; manage files.
  • Assist travel management and travel budget reconciliation for the customer.
  • Identify requirements and needs on logistics and asset management across the program.

Agile Decision Sciences is looking for a NASA Executive Program Coordinator to support the NASA program. The primary responsibility for this position will be to assist a government office with travel support and other administrative and coordination tasks.

Work arrangement

This position is anticipated to be onsite at NASA Headquarters in Washington, DC, or NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) in Greenbelt, MD depending on customer needs. Occasional telework may be possible.

Responsibilities
  • Provides coordination support to high-level leadership including coordinating with multiple stakeholders. Provide administrative support including tracking status of items, reports and assisting in meetings and events.
  • Maintains ownership of calendar and meetings, events and deconflicts the calendar as necessary.
  • Identifies solutions to adjust schedule, assess conflicts and provide up to date information on schedule issues to the stakeholder.
  • Maintain actions for the supported customer. Coordinate with other admins and team to complete and reconcile actions.
  • Supports correspondence, compiling charts, decision memos, note taking and other deliverables; responsible for file management.
  • Support travel management and travel budget reconciliation for customer.
  • Identify requirements and needs on logistics and asset management across the program.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in the government or aerospace industry will be viewed favorably. Previous experience with Concur Government Edition (CGE) is also beneficial.
  • Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office products is critical, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Comfortable using website applications to coordinate activities, store files, and enter data as needed. Experience with SharePoint is preferred.
  • Should possess strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize projects to meet deadlines.
  • The individual will be expected to learn general information about the major projects of the office and key terminology. A proactive and flexible demeanor is greatly preferred, to successfully support this dynamic, high-profile office.
  • Team player with a positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn new processes.
  • Ability to prioritize work and know how to communicate time estimates when there are competing priorities; can status assignment progress.
  • Some travel may be necessary -- locally and in US.
  • Must be U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain a government issued clearance. Candidates with Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI clearances preferred.
Education/Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 or more years of relevant work experience.
  • NASA experience preferred.
