Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions seeks a Configuration Management specialist to support NASA’s design and data management system, ensuring accurate configuration control across projects, facilities, and procedures. You will coordinate change activities, audit data, and collaborate with engineering and quality teams in a dynamic mission-focused environment.

The role requires strong PC skills, Windchill familiarity, and US citizenship for NASA access.

Qualifications

• 4 years verifiable professional experience with a high school diploma or equivalent, or 2 years with a bachelor’s, or 1 year with a master’s in a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Preferred experience with PTC Windchill Software.
• U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain NASA badge.
• Must provide birth certificate, passport, or INS documents at hire.
• Must communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
• Must have a valid Real ID Enhanced driver’s license.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining configuration control of projects, facilities, systems, subsystems, components, drawings, procedures, safety analyses, and related information using NASA's design and data management system; perform audits.
• Support CM boards and sub-boards, cross-organization and contractor coordination for planning, system and documentation auditing, review, problem identification, and resolution.
• Handle change management activities: issue review packages, schedule meetings, create promotion requests, change notices and releases.
• Support the Material and Process Control Board with releasing Material Usage Agreements and providing minutes.
• Occasionally perform field audits to validate or edit database data.
• Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinate changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and data control.
