Job summary

A3 Technology, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Systems Engineer/Integrator in Washington, DC to assist with conducting comprehensive system-wide reviews and analyses of all aspects of the Airspace System development life cycle, particularly the ATC system.

Responsibilities include transition of legacy systems to modernized architectures, NAS infrastructure assessments, and gap analysis to support modernization efforts for FAA NextGen initiatives. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from ABET accredited college; 6–10 years relevant experience.
• Experience interpreting Enterprise Architecture models and frameworks.
• Use of systems engineering concepts to analyze changes and gaps over time.
• Familiarity with enterprise level requirements or enterprise architecture development.
• Microsoft Office suite proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in the transition of legacy systems to modernized systems.
• Conduct evaluations of baselined (As-Is) engineering, acquisition and infrastructure gaps and risks.
• Perform engineering assessments related to NAS infrastructure systems and support NAS modernization.
• Identify dependencies and integration challenges with recommended mitigations.
