Inovar Packaging Group in Sioux Falls, SD, is seeking a Narrow-Web Flexo Press Specialist on a weekend shift to operate a Mark Andy 2200 and deliver precise label printing.

You will review job tickets, set up plates, inks, substrates, and maintain registration, color, and drying parameters, while ensuring quality and minimizing waste. This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and craftsmanship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED completed.
• Hands-on flexographic press experience preferred.
• Experience with Mark Andy 2200 or similar narrow-web press.
• Knowledge of color control, registration, and quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Mark Andy 2200 to meet specs and schedules.
• Review job tickets, artwork, proofs, instructions, materials, and customer requirements.
• Install plates, dies, cylinders, anilox rolls, doctor blades, inks, and tooling.
• Load substrates and establish registration, tension, color, viscosity, and drying.
• Perform color matching and live adjustments for consistent print quality.
• Conduct in-process checks for color, registration, barcodes, defects, die-cut quality.
• Troubleshoot issues like dirty print, pinholes, plate bounce, registration variation, ink buildup.
• Record production data, waste, downtime; maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Follow SOPs and safety; train press helpers as needed.

Narrow‑Web Flexo Press Specialist (Mark Andy 2200)Picture your weekend shift starting before sunrise. You review a fresh job ticket, double‑check proofs, and prep the Mark Andy 2200 for a rapid, accurate setup. Plates are mounted, anilox and doctor blades are selected, inks are matched, and substrates are threaded. You dial in registration, impression, web tension, ink viscosity, and drying so each label locks into spec. Throughout the run, you’re scanning barcodes, watching for defects, and correcting any hint of pinholing, bounce, or color drift.
