Install plates, dies, cylinders, anilox rolls, doctor blades, inks, and all tooling. Load and thread paper, film, or pressure‑sensitive label stock.Production: Establish registration, impression, web tension, color, ink viscosity, and drying/curing settings; run jobs to plan while minimizing waste and downtime.Quality assurance: Perform in‑process checks for color, registration, copy, barcodes, defects, die‑cut quality, and overall appearance; verify finished goods meet requirements.Troubleshooting: Diagnose and correct issues such as dirty print, pinholing, plate bounce, registration variation, ink buildup, web breaks, and inconsistent color.Documentation: Record production activity, material usage, waste, quality results, and downtime accurately.Maintenance & 5S: Conduct routine cleaning, preventive maintenance, and basic mechanical adjustments; maintain a clean, safe, organized work area.Collaboration & training: Communicate with Production, Quality, Prepress, Ink, Maintenance, and Finishing; assist with training Press Helpers and teammates.Compliance: Follow all safety procedures, quality systems, SOPs, and company policies.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDPrevious flexographic press operation experience strongly preferredExperience with a Mark Andy 2200 or comparable narrow‑web press preferredWorking knowledge of flexo plates, anilox rolls, inks, dies, substrates, web tension, registration, and color controlAbility to read job tickets, proofs, specs, measurements, and production documentationMechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skillsAbility to distinguish colors and spot minor print defectsDetail‑oriented, quality‑driven, able to work independently and as part of a teamWilling to work overtime or flexible hours based on production needsPhysical requirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsFrequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and handling of materials/toolingLift and move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodationWork around moving equipment, inks, solvents, noise, and typical manufacturing conditionsWear required personal protective equipmentScheduleFriday–Saturday 4:00am–5:30pm; Sunday 4:00am–2:30pmOvertime may be required based on business and production needsEquipmentFlexographic Printing Press
