Job summary

Inovar Packaging Group seeks an experienced Flexo Label Press Operator (Narrow Web) to operate and maintain a high‑quality flexographic press. You will load stock, set up inks, and ensure color accuracy while meeting production schedules and safety standards.

You will troubleshoot issues, perform in‑process inspections, and document outcomes. A background with Mark Andy 2200 is preferred, with willingness to work overtime as production needs require.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with a Mark Andy 2200 or comparable narrow‑web press preferred.
• Familiarity with flexographic printing components such as plates, anilox rolls, inks, and substrates.
• Ability to read job tickets, proofs, and production documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and color control abilities.
• Willing to work OT.

Responsibilities

• Set up presses by reviewing job tickets, artwork, proofs, press instructions, and customer specs.
• Load and thread label stock, install plates, dies, cylinders, anilox rolls and inks.
• Establish registration, impression, web tension, color, ink viscosity, and drying/curing settings; run to plan with minimal waste.
• Perform in‑process quality checks for color, registration, and die‑cut quality; verify finished goods meet requirements.
• Diagnose and correct issues such as print defects, color variation, and web breaks.
• Document production activity, material usage, waste, quality results, and downtime.
• Conduct routine maintenance, keep area clean, and follow safety procedures; support 5S.
• Collaborate with teams and assist training of helpers as needed.

Install plates, dies, cylinders, anilox rolls, doctor blades, inks, and all tooling.
