Job summary

Stonebridge in Denver, CO is seeking a Part-time Host/Hostess to warmly welcome guests and escort them to seats, while managing reservations and seating charts to optimize dining room flow.

You will present menus, answer questions, and support servers with side-work to ensure a smooth service. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service experience, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Ability to manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guests professionally.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, menu offerings, and promotions.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic for tasks such as totaling costs and making change.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.

Job Summary

The Host/Hostess is responsible for welcoming guests to the dining establishment and escorting them to their seats in a professional and courteous manner. This role includes managing seating arrangements, assisting with reservations, and ensuring guests have a positive dining experience.

Work Environment

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally.
• Requires working in an indoor environment, with some exposure to temperature changes depending on operational needs.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
