Job summary

The Tarrant County Sheriff's Office seeks a capable Narcotics Unit Commander to lead the Task Force, supervise staff, and drive enforcement priorities. You will ensure budgets are met, coordinate multi-agency efforts, and report on narcotics trends to senior leadership.

Applicants should have extensive law enforcement/investigative experience, supervisory background, and a Texas Peace Officer license. This role requires strong leadership and analytical skills, with readiness for shift work and

Responsibilities

• Oversee all Task Force operations and budget for the unit.
• Coordinate narcotic enforcement with area and statewide agencies.
• Report to management on task force issues and budget requests.
• Develop and monitor annual goals for the unit.
• Disposses and manage seized property; maintain records.
• Develop/update standard operating policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with federal law enforcement units.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

10 years law enforcement experience

5 years supervisory experience

Master Texas Peace Officer’s license
