Unique Industries is seeking a Machine Operator for the 1st shift in the Napkins Department. The role emphasizes operating and monitoring production machinery, maintaining safety and quality standards, and completing paperwork accurately.

Ideal candidates have basic math, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment. Continued education preferred; 1 year in a distribution/manufacturing setting is desirable. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour.

About Our Opportunity

Machine Operator position on 1st shift in the Napkins Department.

PRIMARY DUTY

Effectively operates and monitors machines in production department.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following.

• Starts, stops, and clears jams from the equipment.
• Changes labels or wrapper film as needed.
• Accurately completes required paperwork and cycle counts.
• Exhibits a professional manner in dealing with others, and works to maintain constructive working relationships.
• A commitment to company-wide quality and safety is required.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
• Other duties may be assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Ability to work as a team leader.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work in a fast paced distribution environment.
• Ability to communicate with management and coworkers in order to meet departmental goals.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and use repetitive hand motions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to reach overhead, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and lift up to fifty (50) pounds.

Pay

• We offer competitive pay based on job-related skills, experience, relevant education, training, and geographic location.
• The starting hourly pay rate is $17.00.
