Job summary

Fabric8Labs, a San Diego-based innovator in metal 3D printing, is seeking a Nanofabrication Production Technician. You will operate nanofabrication and characterization equipment to fabricate our core technology, adhering to SOPs and producing high-quality semiconductor devices.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 0–2 years of industry experience, with hands-on experience in cluster tools and photolithography.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemistry, Physics, Nanoengineering or related field.
• 0-2 years of related industry experience; non-academic R&D experience is a plus.
• Experience in nanofabrication or microfabrication in a production cleanroom environment.
• Strong attention to detail and note-taking skills.
• Experience with mass-production nanofabrication tools and robotic arms.

Responsibilities

• Operate nanofabrication and characterization equipment to produce semiconductor devices with high quality.
• Follow standard operating procedures and maintain accurate production records.
• Collaborate with the production manager to meet weekly goals and yield quotas.
