Job summary

TSMC Arizona is seeking a Material Engineer to advance the Nano-Materials Center, overseeing raw materials for advanced semiconductor fabrication and collaborating with suppliers and cross-functional teams on-site in Phoenix.

You will plan analyses, perform audits, and drive process improvements, supporting the upcoming N4/N3/N2 fabs and the 2nm program while maintaining safety, quality, and on-time delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master/PhD in relevant fields.
• Understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and material supply chain.
• Knowledge of chemistry and engineering principles.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot high-tech equipment.
• Experience conducting audits and assessments.
• Project management skills for chemical/material processes.
• 1+ year semiconductor industry experience as Process Engineer is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage Raw Material Issues: Solve raw material issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Sustain Day-to-Day Operations: Maintain day-to-day raw material operations meeting quality and delivery standards.
• Plan and Execute Analysis Projects: Plan and conduct analysis and defect detection projects.
• Conduct Supplier Audits: Visit and audit suppliers to assess materials and processes.
• Facilitate Internal Cooperation: Coordinate with internal departments to support projects.
• Collaborate on International Projects: Work with cross-functional teams and overseas engagements.
• Perform On-Site Operations at TSMC Facility: Engage in on-site activities and address technical issues.
