Four Seasons Hotels in Fort Lauderdale seeks a skilled Nail Technician to deliver manicures, pedicures, and related nail therapy to our guests, ensuring luxury service and warmth. The role requires adherence to Board of Cosmetology standards and a polished presentation.

You will maintain salon standards, set up and clean equipment, and actively promote retail products while engaging with guests and colleagues to uphold the Four Seasons standard of hospitality.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license required by Florida Board of Cosmetology.
• Minimum of 2 years’ nail technician experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Strong personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent time management; able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nail services (manicures, pedicures, paraffin dips, shellac, etc.) to guests.
• Adhere to sanitation and hygiene standards per Board of Cosmetology and local laws.
• Maintain guest comfort through lighting, scents, temperature, and ambience.
• Set up, use, and clean salon equipment; manage linens and supplies.
• Actively promote and sell retail items.

About the role

The Nail Technician performs nail services and procedures on guests based on their request, including but not limited to manicures, pedicures, paraffin dips, polish change, Shellac services, callus treatments, and any specialty treatments related to nails.

What you will do

• Provide professional and relaxed nail service to all guests, maintaining the highest level of hospitality and professionalism.
• Adhere to all Board of Cosmetology requirements including all sanitation and hygiene standards and complies with local legislation as required.
• Ensure environment, lighting, scents, and temperature are to guest’s comfort and spa standards.
• Set up, utilize and clean equipment in the nail salon. Ensure quality and par levels for linens and supplies. Clean and break down work area
• Actively promote and sell retail items.

What you bring

• Florida Board of Cosmetology Certification required.
• At least 2 years of nail technician experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong time management skills: ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions. Willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Upselling skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests.
