Job summary

Riverside Casino & Golf Resort is seeking a Nail Technician who delivers exceptional manicure and pedicure services while upholding Iowa sanitation knowledge and excellent guest communication. The role is part-time and located at the resort’s spa, with a commission-eligible pay structure and 20 hours of paid time off upon hire.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, attending trainings, and educating guests on home regimens; you will also cross-train for additional resort duties.

Qualifications

• Aveda knowledge/training required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in nail services or related field.

Job description

Riverside is looking for a Nail Technician whom exceeds guest expectations in providing manicure/ pedicure services. They must have latest knowledge of related field techniques & Iowa sanitation regulations along with excellent communication skills while interacting with a wide range of clientele.The Nail Technician will maximize service skills and product sales within an Aveda Environmental Lifestyle Salon and Spa!

Essential Functions

• Provide exceptional guest service to all customers.
• High standard of cleanliness and sanitation; adhere to all guidelines; maintain supplies.
• Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings “Huddles”.
• Good time management skills are needed to maximize scheduling framework.
• Must be dependable, punctual, fun, energetic and courteous professional.
• Passionate outgoing personality who enjoys working with the public.
• Perform guest consultation and post treatment recommendations with ability to educate guests on products and home regimens.
• Creative thinker and team player who is able to cross train and assist with phone sales, tours, service scheduling or other Resort duties.
• Desire to learn and develop skills through ongoing training programs.
• Must keep state certification current and in good standing.

Required

Schedule

Part-Time to include: Days, Weekends & Holidays

$14/hr + Commission (including premium pay) with 20 hours of Paid Time Off upon hire
