Job summary

Interstate Batteries in Springfield, MO is seeking a NAC Delivery Specialist to deliver batteries and serve National Account customers on the route safely and promptly.

You will load/unload trucks, maintain inventory, manage dealer accounts, and handle paperwork with professionalism. A clean driving record and a valid DOT medical card are required; overnight routes may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school graduate (or equivalent).
• Read, write and compute basic math.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience.
• Previous delivery driving experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of electronic inventory management tools (tablets, scanners).
• Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Sense of urgency; overtime may be required.
• Overnight routes may be needed depending on location.
• Must have a clean driving record and meet driver qualifications.
• Must have and maintain a valid DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Deliver batteries and provide service to National Account customers on your route in a safe and timely manner.
• Load and unload trucks safely and maintain an accurate account of all company assets.
• Keep displays and products clean, full, and rotated per National Account agreement.
• Manage a dealer account including sales, consignment, warranties, rotates, cash collection, and invoicing.
• Complete delivery/route transactions and other paperwork on time.
• Interact professionally with team members, managers and customers.
• Follow driver program requirements as specified by the manager.
• Collect and return junk and/or used batteries to the warehouse.
• Other duties as assigned, including battery delivery to non-National accounts.
