Job summary

Interstate Batteries seeks a Route Sales professional to service and aggressively expand an assigned customer set along a predefined route in Mundelein, IL. You will sell batteries to National Account dealers, rotate stock, keep displays clean, and maintain up-to-date dealer lists.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and strong communication and customer service skills, with at least two years of sales, customer service, and delivery experience.

• Must possess current DL and have clean driving record.
• Prior sales experience highly desirable

• Current, valid state driver's license
• Ability to read, write and compute basic math.
• Minimum 2 years demonstrated sales , customer service and delivery experience

Work Environment

Regularly required to use hands to grasp or handle, talk and hear, stand and walk. Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Ability to lift and/or move 50+ lbs. Exposed to battery warehouse conditions such as exposure to moving equipment mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals.
