Job summary

Interstate Batteries is seeking a dependable Sales Route Associate to service and expand an assigned dealer network. You will rotate batteries, collect cores, maintain displays, and ensure accurate dealer records while building strong relationships with National Account dealers.

The role requires a current driver's license, 2+ years in sales and customer service, and solid communication skills. Route-based, on-site work with physical requirements is expected.

Qualifications

• Must possess current DL and have clean driving record.
• Prior sales experience highly desirable
• Good communication skills
• Strong customer service skills.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Current, valid state driver’s license
• Ability to read, write and compute basic math.
• Minimum 2 years demonstrated sales, customer service and delivery experience.

• Uses frequent independent judgment when making decisions
• Work Environment Regularly required to use hands to grasp or handle, talk and hear, stand and walk.
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
• Ability to lift and/or move 50+ lbs.
• Exposed to battery warehouse conditions such as exposure to moving equipment mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals.
