Job summary

Akima Global Technology (AGT) in the United States seeks a Program Manager to provide technical and programmatic oversight for Commercial Internet Services initiatives. You will ensure scheduling, resource management, and delivery of contractual obligations, driving cost efficiency, flexibility, and scalability through a Network as a Service (NaaS) model.

Qualifications

• 10+ years managing large IT or telecom programs across CONUS.
• Must be US Citizen - Able to obtain a Public Trust.
• Strong understanding of WAN technologies and commercial Internet solutions.
• Proven success in vendor management, contract oversight, and performance monitoring.
• Bachelor's Degree is required; exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
• Ability to translate technical requirements into actionable program plans and deliverables.
• Strong understanding of Network as a Service (NaaS).

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple and/or large programs to ensure implementation and activities meet objectives.
• Manage the work activities for multiple programs to ensure satisfactory delivery.
• Plan, scope definition, design, execution, and delivery of programs.
• Track progress against milestones, budgets, and performance metrics; report to senior management.
• Oversee activities of external consultants and/or vendors.
• Provide leadership and have authority for personnel decisions.
• Supervise through a team of subordinate supervisors/managers.
• Administer departmental policies, evaluate results, and assist with budgets and strategic plans.
