Job summary

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in US GAAP (ASC 606), at least 3 years in accounting, and excellent communication skills to influence outcomes across organizational levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, technical accounting, or related finance functions in a large organization.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP—specifically ASC 606, financial reporting, and internal controls over financial reporting.
• CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to build collaborative partnerships, communicate effectively across organizational levels, and manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Execute timely month-end and quarter-end close activities for revenue and receivables accounts.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, Sales, Technical Accounting, and Global Controlling to support estimates, initiatives, and complex issues.
• Perform financial analyses and account reviews to ensure completeness and accuracy of transactions and reporting.
• Collaborate with Nike's Managed Service Provider to support transaction processing and process standardization.
• Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen controls and reporting quality.
• Support Controlling initiatives including system implementations, process enhancements, and cross-functional projects.
• Execute SOX controls and assist in financial statement reporting to maintain compliance with US GAAP.
