IDEXX Laboratories, Inc. seeks a North America Payroll Manager to lead multi-country payroll operations across the U.S. and Canada, partnering with HR, Finance, and regional leaders to ensure accurate, on-time payments and regulatory compliance.

You will develop the payroll strategy, coach a high-performing team, manage budgets and external vendors, and drive automation initiatives including AI to improve efficiency in a growing organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of payroll or finance experience.
• 6+ years of managerial experience leading teams.
• Experience with complex multi-country or multi-state payroll.
• Strong financial acumen and regulatory knowledge (US/Canada).
• Experience with Workday or ADP.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the payroll team.
• Oversee processing and reconciliation of multi-country payroll.
• Partner with internal clients and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Provide payroll guidance to HR and senior management.
• Oversee vendor selection and management.
• Develop and implement payroll strategy for NA.
• Champion process improvements and automation.
• Ensure compliance programs and regulatory liaison.
• Manage payroll-related costs and budgets.
• Contribute to regional and global projects.
