Macquarie Bank Limited is seeking a North American Gas Settlements Analyst to provide essential operational support for end-to-end gas trading settlements within the Commodities and Global Markets group. The role emphasizes accuracy, timely escalation, and collaboration with risk, treasury, and finance teams.

The role requires strong attention to detail in a time-sensitive environment and offers hybrid working with three days per week in the Houston location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in trade support, settlements, or operations within commodities, energy, or financial markets.
• Working knowledge of natural gas settlements, pipeline volume actualization, reconciliations, and exception management.
• Experience performing books and records reconciliations and supporting treasury activities.
• Strong attention to detail in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across trading, risk, treasury, and finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential, business-aligned operational support to the Commodities and Global Markets group, end-to-end gas trading settlements.
• Perform decentralized reconciliations of books and records, resolve discrepancies, and support treasury activities.
• Leverage data, workflow, or reporting tools to enhance efficiency and reporting.
