Job summary

GE Vernova in Greenville, SC, USA, seeks a North America Systems Validation Leader to coordinate field validation for the Megawatt Constrained product portfolio. You will drive risk reduction, enable rapid issue resolution, and shape validation strategy with significant autonomy.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering and at least 7 years in wind turbine tech or industrial validation. Relocation to Greenville and 30–40% travel are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in Wind turbine technology or industrial testing and validation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate execution of field validation testing and data acquisition for MW Constrained products.
• Design and construct test facilities, instrumentation systems and test software.
• Develop data collection, data science, data processing, and automation for validation use.
• Develop instrumentation methods and standardization for program needs.
• Lead validation data strategies to expedite learnings and risk reduction.
• Lead deployment of resources to maximize ROI for field validation.
• Manage strategic relationships with third-party vendors for validation and certification.
• Manage a large global team across validation and systems engineering.
