Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a senior validation engineer to lead the validation engineering team for wind turbine programs. You will manage full NPI launches, coordinate campaigns at multiple test sites, and guide loads validation with instrumentation, data acquisition, storage and processing.

The role requires a mechanical engineering background with extensive experience in wind turbine validation, data analysis, and IEC/RE standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Ten years of validation and field testing experience in wind turbines.
• Master's degree with eight years experience in lieu of Bachelor's.
• Experience leading full type certification campaigns and IEC/RE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to validation engineering team.
• Coordinate validation campaigns across multiple test sites and guide loads-related activities.
• Develop NPIs and standard work to support certification campaigns.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external partners for validation strategy.
