General Mills is seeking an Associate Finance Manager to support North America Commercial Accounting, focusing on revenue recognition, deductions, reserves, and close processes. You will partner with commercial, sales, credit and outsourced accounting partners to ensure accurate reporting, strong controls, and timely decisions, while integrating best practices across GAO.

Formación

• CPA designation required.
• 4+ years of experience in public accounting, commercial accounting, or related role.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, revenue recognition, allowances and reserves.
• Experience with financial close, reporting, internal controls, and SOX.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical accounting analysis for new programs, contracts, and nonrecurring matters.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close and revenue recognition per ASC 606.
• Prepare, review, and analyze results; communicate insights to partners.
• Support CECL requirements and reserves with Credit and Shared Services teams.
• Own or support SOX controls and governance activities in the commercial space.
• Coordinate with outsourced accounting partners; ensure timely deliverables.
• Interact with external auditors and participate in governance initiatives.
