Qualifications

• CPA and B.S. in Accounting required.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in public or commercial accounting.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP including revenue recognition.
• Experience with financial close, reporting, internal controls, and SOX.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to influence stakeholders.
• Proactive, adaptable; ability to manage priorities and improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical accounting analysis and guidance with cross-functional partners.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close and reporting under ASC 606.
• Prepare and analyze commercial accounting results for business partners.
• Assist with accounts receivable reserves and CECL compliance.
• Own or support SOX controls and governance activities within the commercial space.
• Coordinate with outsourced accounting partners and auditors as needed.
• Collaborate globally to share best practices and standardize processes.
• Support cross-functional GAO-wide projects and initiatives.
