Job summary

AIG in Chicago, IL seeks a senior actuarial pricing analytics leader to drive North America modelling strategies. You will collaborate with product actuaries and underwriters to build and maintain predictive modelling pipelines, using AWS/Sagemaker and AI-enabled tools.

The role emphasizes governance, agile leadership, and coaching of junior staff, with a capstone focus on delivering scalable modelling solutions for commercial lines pricing.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of relevant experience in Technical Pricing, Actuarial or predictive modelling.
• A degree in a mathematical or computer science related discipline.
• Very comfortable coding in R, Python or other data science language with strong software practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and modelling tools (Emblem/Radar).
• AI fluent: practical experience using AI/GenAI tools with controls.
• Experience embedding best-practice AI analytics, model risk, validation and governance.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain advanced statistical modelling pipelines forming the basis for rating tools across North America.
• Lead delivery of Radar models and govern modelling pipelines in production.
• Train and support Actuaries in advanced modelling and analytics techniques; drive adoption of AI-enabled tools.
• Enhance and standardise scalable modelling processes across North America product portfolio.
• Take ownership of projects using Agile planning; review code and mentor junior resources.
