Summary

This position is located in the Food and Beverage Division of the Morale, Welfare and Recreation Department in the Navy Region Southwest.

Duties

• Perform necessary preparations in the assigned area prior to opening the dining room, such as setting tables with cloths, silverware, glasses, condiments, napkins, and decorations.
• Prepare backup tables with items like butter, ice, coffee, fruits, juices, salads, and breads.
• Familiarize with the menu, offer suggestions, record guest selections, and relay orders to the kitchen.
• Serve side dishes, beverages, and assist in meal service.
• Clear and clean tables after meals and reset for the next guests.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

Conditions of Employment

• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
• Meet federal suitability requirements, including background checks.
• Be able to handle objects weighing up to 20 lbs.
