Job summary

Fleet and Family Support Center Lemoore is seeking a Theater Attendant to support Cat C movie program operations, including sales, equipment handling, events, and resale activities. The role requires opening/closing duties, POS usage, and adherence to CNIC standards.

You will manage concessions, ensure cleanliness, program DCP projection equipment, and monitor audio-visual quality while maintaining security and safety protocols on base.

• Enforces CNIC rules; no outside beverages; reports issues to Theater Manager.
• Oversees evacuation of the theater in events of emergencies.
• Keeps movie schedules and posters posted in a timely manner.
• Operates according to CNIC instructions and program standards.
• Handles unruly patrons and coordinates with security.
• Contacts security for continued disturbances.

The purpose of this position is to assist management with Category C (Cat C) movie program operations including sales, equipment operation, special events, and resale operations.

Summary

This position is assigned to the Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) Division; Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR); Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC); Lemoore. The purpose of this position is to assist management with Category C (Cat C) movie program operations including sales, equipment operation, special events, and resale operations.

Duties

• Opens and secures facility.
• Ensures auditorium, concession area, and restrooms are clean prior to patrons arriving.
• Operates a Point of Sale (POS) to sell concession products.
• Ensures concession area is properly stocked prior to opening.
• Ensures movie hard drives and keys are delivered in a timely manner.
• Ingests and programs movie automation utilizing the Digital Cinema Package (DCP) projection equipment according to the current movie schedule.
• Ensures the scheduled movies are ready to be shown and projection and sound equipment are in good working order prior to the start time of each showing.
• Performs frequent checks inside the auditorium to ensure sound level and picture quality are properly set.
• Ensures no food, alcohol or other outside beverages are brought into the theater.
• Conducts security checks of oversized bags and backpacks of patrons entering the facility.
• Reports any problems or incidents to the Theater Manager.
• Oversees the evacuation of the theater in the event of an emergency.
• Ensures movie schedules and posters are posted in a timely manner.
• Ensures program operates according to CNIC instructions and CNIC Program standards, guidance, and requirements.
• Handles unruly patrons and in cases of continued disturbances contacts the security office for further assistance.

• Must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Any discrepancies must be resolved as a condition of employment.
• Must meet federal suitability requirements including successful completion of background investigation.
• Irregular working hours may be required to include early shift, late shift, evenings, weekends and holidays when the need arises.
• May have to obtain and maintain the following certification within 90 days of hire: Emergency First Responder or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, Food Handlers and/or C.A.R.E (Controlling Alcohol Risks Effectively).
