Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent and completion of 30 college credit hours and five years of progressively responsible experience in construction, preferably of sewers.
• Thorough knowledge of sewer construction methods, materials, and testing.
• Ability to interpret plans and specifications; strong written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site visits to verify information relevant to certification and MWBE utilization.
• Review project plans and district specifications for MWBE participation and contract compliance.
• Monitor contractor progress and validate payments for MWBE participation.
• Investigate alleged program violations and resolve MWBE compliance issues.
• Attend project meetings with contractors and engineers to address problems.
