The MW Inspectors will assist Supervisors and Assistant Supervisors with administrative tasks to support the coordination of work for Track employees in their daily assignments including but not limited to the execution of canvassing overtime. They will also support the Supervisors and Assistant Supervisors efforts for the safe and economical use of available labor, material and equipment. This position will perform non-supervisory duties.

In addition to meeting the minimum requirements of the position, the selection process may include, but is not limited to, a pre-screening assessment (i.e., physical, written and/ or practical evaluation) and interview. In addition, LIRR employee applicants must be in their current position for the 12 months immediately preceding the close date of this posting and must possess a satisfactory work history, including attendance and discipline record.
