Position Summary

Mount View High School is seeking a dependable, student-centered Educational Technician III to serve as our Study Hall Monitor. This position plays an important role in creating a structured, supportive environment where students can thrive. The successful candidate will build positive relationships with students, reinforce school expectations, encourage productive use of study time, and serve as a consistent, supportive presence throughout the school day.

Responsibilities Include
  • Supervise assigned study halls and maintain a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment
  • Monitor attendance, student movement, and study hall expectations
  • Encourage students to use study time effectively while providing academic support and reinforcement as appropriate
  • Build positive relationships with students while promoting responsibility, organization, and independence
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to support student success
  • Assist with student supervision and other duties as assigned
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
  • Perform other duties and provide student supervision as assigned by the building principal.
Qualifications
