Eaton is seeking a MVA Offload Fronts Technician II, 1st Shift, in Greenwood, SC. The role involves assembling, wiring, and modifying mid/high-voltage assemblies, following engineering drawings and supervisor instructions.

You will complete various checklists, install electrical equipment, inspect for quality, and support engineering with development activities. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, teamwork, and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, wire, and modify components for medium- and high-voltage assemblies according to guidelines.
• Read and follow manufacturing information, drawings, sketches, and supervisor instructions.
• Complete ISO, quality, and customer checklists and production lists as required.
• Mount and install electrical equipment and perform wiring operations.
• Inspect assemblies to ensure security, completeness, and cleanliness.
• Respond to change notices and customer-driven development needs.
• Support engineering, drafting, and supervision with development activities.
• Train and coach colleagues to share knowledge and skills.

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a MVA Offload Fronts, Technician II, 1st Shift.The rate for this position is $20.00 per hour. The core hours are Monday through Thursday from 5:30 am until 3:30 pm.This position is eligible for a variable incentive program.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do:In the Assembly Technician position, you will assemble, wire, and modify components in accordance with established guidelines for manufacturing medium- and high voltage indoor and outdoor assemblies. This includes breaker and auxiliary compartments, breakers, customer service orders, power modules, and associated sub assemblies.Work from manufacturing information, electrical and mechanical drawings, sketches, and written or verbal instructions from supervisors or team leads, following established procedures.Complete ISO checklists, quality checklists, customer checklists, feedback forms, and production lists as required for supervision, drafting, customer service, and engineering.Mount and install electrical equipment and perform wiring operations as needed.Regularly lift, handle, and assemble components that include heavy copper parts.Report material shortages to the appropriate Kanban inventory operators.Inspect all assemblies to ensure hardware is secure, components are complete, and products meet cleanliness standards.Respond to change notices, customer requested adjustments, and development needs.Support engineering, drafting, and supervision with customer driven development activities.Effectively train and coach colleagues to support knowledge sharing and skill development.Position Criteria:Skilled in the safe and efficient use of hand tools and pneumatic (air) tools.Strong verbal and written communication, persuasive abilities, and analytical problem solving skills.Ability to work effectively with individuals and teams in a collaborative environment.Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as business needs require.Ability to safely use hand and power tools, step ladders, and cranes to assemble products and verify quality in a Lean environment.Proficiency with standard computer applications (Microsoft Outlook and Teams) and job specific systems such as ENOVIA.Qualifications:Basic Qualifications:Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.Eaton does not provide immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
