Job summary

AtWork Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Arvada, Colorado, focused on the design and development of medium-voltage switchgear systems. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, creating detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, and production documentation using CAD tools.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and proficiency in CAD software (Autodesk Inventor preferred). Strong design experience and understanding of manufacturing processes are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or an associate degree with 2+ years of relevant design experience.
• Proficient in 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor preferred; SolidWorks acceptable).
• Experience designing sheet metal and copper busbar components.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings for MV switchgear components.
• Design custom sheet metal parts and enclosure assemblies per project requirements.
• Generate and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical documentation.
