Vertiv is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to support the development of customized medium voltage switchgear. You will create manufacturing drawings, develop 3D models, and participate in design reviews to ensure timely, accurate engineering documentation in a fast NPD environment.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in design engineering, proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks PDM, and a strong grasp of GD&T, sheet metal, and manufacturing processes.

Qualifikationen

• Degree or diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• 2+ years in design engineering, preferably switchgear or custom fabrication.
• Proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks PDM.

• Prepare manufacturing drawings and engineering documentation per specs and schedules.
• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Conduct design reviews and ensure drawing accuracy with project teams.
