Eaton, ES AMER ARS PDCAD division, seeks a Product Line Applications Engineer for our Arden, NC facility. You will translate customer needs into technically and commercially viable solutions, supporting quotations, product development, and market expansion.

Requirements include a bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years in electrical engineering or technical sales support, with knowledge of IEEE/NEMA/UL/NEC/ANSI/IEC standards. Relocation is limited to within 75 miles of Arden, NC.

Competenze

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical/application/controls engineering or technical sales support.
Minimum of 2 years with IEEE, NEMA, UL, NEC, ANSI, IEC standards.

Mansioni

Analyze specs and drawings to create engineering docs and BOMs.
Validate product selection, costs, and risks before quotation release.
Support commercial negotiations with technical clarifications and value-based positioning.
Develop complex drawings and BOMs from product designs with sufficient detail.
Collaborate with sales, engineering, manufacturing and supply chain to define new equipment applications.
Coordinate mechanical and electrical interfaces with other products.
Advise on production interpretation of purchaser requirements.
Lead product line projects and provide technical training to teams.
Provide customer and service training on product lines.
Identify opportunities for product improvements with management and design teams.
