Job summary

Eaton’s Power Distribution and Control Assemblies Division in Arden, NC is seeking an MVCA Applications Engineer to support the development of engineered solutions for medium voltage control assemblies and related motor control applications. You will collaborate with field sales, COE, manufacturing, and engineering teams to ensure customer requirements meet Eaton standards.

You will provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle, assist with Witness Tests, troubleshoot field

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of five (5) years of engineering experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
• Willingness to travel as required by projects.

Responsibilities

• Review customer specifications, drawings, and technical requirements.
• Support development of engineered solutions for MVCA products including full-voltage starters, reduced-voltage starters, autotransformer starters, reactor starters, and specialty motor control applications.
• Identify specification conflicts, technical risks, and non-standard requirements early in the order cycle.
• Provide recommendations that balance customer requirements with Eaton standards and manufacturing capabilities.
• Support field sales engineers and customers during project development and execution.
• Assist plant and field sales engineers in interpreting and defining new equipment applications; coordinating interfaces with other products.
